Parenting is not for the faint of heart. As our

children grow and develop, it can be

challenging to adjust our parenting with them.

They increasingly want independence and

develop their own thoughts and opinions. At

any age this can prove to be difficult for a

parent. It can be easy to get caught in a spiral

where parenting can come out of a place of

reacting rather than rational thought. Often,

people parent from how they were parented,

pulling from what they know and have

experienced. However, if those examples of parenting caused issues, the cycle has a good chance of continuing.

At Lifegrowth, we work to come alongside you and begin to identify the factors that are playing into the issues you are experiencing. Personal issues, family stressers, and outside pressures can all greatly impact a parent’s capacity to be a parent. We work to address the negative factors while also helping you build a system that works and makes you feel capable and supported. We look forward to helping you regain your parenting purpose and potential.
