A safe place to grieve the unique complexities of a loved one's suicide
The grief that follows the loss of a loved one to suicide is unique from other losses. Survival requires us to cope with sorrow, anger, and injustice. It leaves us needing to overcome a trauma in our lives that we couldn’t expect and don’t always know how to adjust to as we seek to recover our lives. And we often feel very alone, misunderstood, and isolated from others whose lives seem so full of all things we feel we have lost. But we do not have to find our way through these changes alone.
Stepping Stones is a group where you can join with others who are facing the same struggles and adjustments and know that you will be understood. It is a safe and supportive space for you to share your personal journey, knowing that your story will be respected and your privacy protected.
